How To Deal With Burnout?

Burnout is a condition of emotional exhaustion that can happen to workers of all ages. It can be caused by a variety of reasons but most frequently by stress and pressure at work that has accumulated for a long time.  People with burnout generally feel tired and/or frustrated when it is time to work. It can also be characterised by Low mood, decreased productivity and not working effectively. If you let the symptoms burnout go unchecked, you can lose your motivation and inspiration to work or may eventually resign!

  1. Set Aside Time For Your Favourite Activities.

Reading books, listening to music, singing karaoke or any activity as you are interested to let your brain and body to relax. If these activities do not interest you, you might spend time learning and studying new things to increase knowledge can be as satisfying and rewarding. 

  1. Talk To Someone Who Is Close With You.

Talk with people you trust. This helps clear your mind and helps you relax even more. Talk to your close friends, girlfriends, family, etc.

  1. Join Volunteer Groups

Try volunteer activities. You will feel great and can make life feel more meaningful. Maybe start small by picking up trash, helping young and old cross the street, help look after and talking to the elderly. Maybe develop to become a care giver. Helping others can contribute to joy and reduce stress and it also creates opportunities to make new friends.

  1. Talk more with your co-workers.

Chat with colleagues who have encountered similar problems. In addition to help you reduce work stress, you can also work together to find a solution to stop the cause of your burnout and have the opportunity to create a better work environment. It’s easier to get through the difficult times by working together.

5.Vacation

Machines need rest and recovery. People are the same! Try to take a vacation. Take yourself out of your undesirable environment. Go to the beach, mountains, shop, or go abroad! Restore your physical and mental condition for the better.
