But as time passed, Thailand, which is a Buddhist city, brought Buddhism into play. Therefore, there was an additional activity: bringing the lantern. to worship the relics and floating lanterns, and to worship the Buddha’s footprint.

 

According to the beliefs of the Loy Krathong tradition, it is different in each area. as we often hear from childhood. That is to ask for forgiveness from Phra Mae Ganga. because in the old days, people made a living and traveled mainly through water. Therefore, it is thought that people have taken advantage of Phra Mae Ganga. Therefore, the Krathong has been floated. to be regarded as worshiping and asking for forgiveness from the goddess Ganga.
